Interim FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER (Manufacturing)

I am delighted to present a great opportunity for an INTERIM FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER (Manufacturing) on behalf of a large high profile manufacturing/FMCG business based in the East Midlands.

This is a 6 month contract on a hybrid basis paying a day rate of £400-450 per day UMBRELLA (in scope IR35) subject to experience.

The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing/FMCG and experience in a large complex multi-site organisation.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing decision support on costing and pricing proposals, considering brand strategy, competitor positioning, and profitability.

• Delivering detailed reporting and commentary on brand performance and profitability, along with actionable recommendations.

• Acting as a trusted partner, offering constructive insights based on strong business relationships.

• Ensuring accurate allocation of promotional discounts and marketing costs to ensure clarity in brand performance reports.

• Coordinating financial planning processes, including 3-Year Plans, Budgets, and Forecasts.

• Collaborating on annual brand price increases, considering raw material price movements and competitive factors.

• Working with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities and develop plans for achievable volume and profit growth.

• Participating in the preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and credit control for contract customers.

• Managing internal audits from contract customers, covering financial, commercial, and quality aspects.

• Analysing and reporting on the performance of contract packers/brands/private labels.

• Leading or participating in various projects as required.
