Finance Business Partner
Location: Leicester (Hybrid working available)
Sector: Manufacturing
Salary: £65,000 - £82,000 per annum + Bonus
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is a commercially focused role, working closely with senior operational stakeholders to drive performance, improve decision-making and support sustainable growth.
You will act as the key link between finance and operations, providing insight, challenge and analysis across production, supply chain and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with operational and commercial leaders to support strategic and day-to-day decision-making
Deliver timely and insightful management reporting, including variance analysis and performance commentary
Own and develop budgets, forecasts and long-range planning models
Provide detailed cost analysis, including standard costing, margins and manufacturing efficiencies
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and supply chain
Challenge performance, identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
Contribute to business cases, investment appraisals and capital expenditure decisions
Improve financial controls, reporting processes and data quality
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting role
Manufacturing experience is highly desirable (costing, inventory, production environments)
Strong commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insight
Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience advantageous
Proactive, resilient and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
