Finance Manager £50,000-£55,000 per annum
Leicester


My client, a well-established and highly respected business based in Leicester, is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Finance Manager to oversee their finance function. This pivotal role will be at the heart of their operations, driving financial management, insight-led decision making, and operational excellence.


As the Finance Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the financial strategy of the business, working closely with the senior leadership team and contributing to the continued success and growth of the business. If you're proactive, ambitious, and enjoy improving systems and processes, this is the ideal opportunity to make a significant impact.


Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, KPIs, financial reports, and forecasts
Monitor budgets, cash flow, forecasting, and overall financial performance
Prepare year-end statutory accounts and supporting files
Oversee internal payroll operations.
Maintain and reconcile internal accounting records using Xero, including VAT submissions
Contribute to the annual budget and long-term strategic planning
Manage relevant annual returns and insurance declarations
Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to internal teams and external providers
Develop dashboards and analysis to support business insights
Liaise with senior leadership and department heads on financial matters
Lead financial project management for key business initiatives


The Ideal Candidate:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent) PQ & QBE are also considered.
Proven experience in a similar management accounting or finance role.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, data transformation, and modelling)
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
