Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Coventry
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are currently working with a client who is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function. This role would suit a fully qualified accountant who can balance strong financial control with commercial insight and effective stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, planning, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Act as a key finance business partner to senior and operational stakeholders
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and processes are maintained
• Manage and develop members of the finance team
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
• Lead year-end processes, including statutory accounts and audit
• Support cash flow management and working capital optimisation
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA), QBE also considered
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or equivalent role
• Strong technical accounting and financial control background
• Demonstrated people management experience
• Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
