Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are currently working with a client who is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support key areas of the business. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is a confident communicator, comfortable presenting financial information to senior and non-finance stakeholders, and able to influence decision-making through clear insight and challenge.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between finance and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• Present financial performance, forecasts, and insights to leadership and non-finance audiences
• Provide clear, concise financial commentary and recommendations to support decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for assigned business areas
• Analyse financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends
• Develop and maintain financial models and business cases
• Support month-end reporting and management accounts with a business-focused lens
• Drive improvements in financial understanding and financial literacy across the business

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, commercial finance, or similar role
• Highly confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and large groups
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
• Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
• Experience partnering with senior leadership or operational teams
• Strong presentation skills, including preparing and delivering board-level or executive presentations
• Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools
• Experience using BI or data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
