Job Title: Accounts Payable Admin
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Salary: £25,000
Type: Full Time, Permanent (Hybrid after probation)

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a busy finance team in Nottingham. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates, or those with some work placement experience who are eager to kick-start their career in Accounts Payable. You don't need to have previous experience in Accounts Payable, as full training will be provided.

This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally, with clear progression to a Senior Accounts Payable role within 2 years. After successfully passing the probation period (3 months), the role will be hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Input supplier invoices
  • Produce payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Handle incoming queries
  • Build and maintain relationships
  • Maintain and create supplier accounts
  • Assist the wider team

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate or someone with some practical experience in accounts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills in Accounts Payable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
  • Basic understanding of accounting software
