Finance Analyst

Macildowie are working with a growing UK-based business headquartered in Leicestershire to recruit a Finance Analyst for their growing and evolving finance function.
The finance team is developing a strong focus on improving reporting, forecasting and decision support across the organisation. This role will sit within the FP&A team and play a key part in providing high-quality financial analysis, insight and performance reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.


The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the FP&A team in delivering high-quality financial analysis and performance insight
  • Monitoring and reporting on key business pipelines, delivering regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Analysing investment opportunities and assessing financial viability and associated risks
  • Producing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning
  • Transforming large data sets into clear insights using analytical and visualisation tools
  • Partnering with operational and finance teams to ensure consistent assumptions and accurate forecasting
  • Supporting long-term financial planning and identifying opportunities to optimise investment decisions
  • Delivering ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership decision making

About You

We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working with data and partnering with stakeholders to drive better business decisions. You will likely have:

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
  • 2-4 years of experience within commercial finance or financial analysis roles
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting insights to senior stakeholders
