Management Accountant - 6mnth FTC
Macildowie are working with this growing client based in north Warwickshire, easily accessible from Hinckley, Nuneaton or Tamworth to recruit a Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector, offering a hands-on role with strong business partnering exposure. The position is full-time, with a working pattern of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, and some flexibility over start/finish times.
As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting New Product Development and commercial decision-making through accurate financial insight and costing processes. You will work closely with operational and R&D teams to ensure product costings are robust and aligned to manufacturing processes and also work with the wider finance team.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as Finance Business Partner for Product Development and Commercial teams, leading new product set-ups and costings
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations to ensure accurate and consistent costing methodologies
- Maintain product costings and Bills of Materials within the ERP system
- Deliver timely and accurate weekly production reconciliations
- Ensure stock integrity across raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Support management of GRNI accounts and identify releasable items
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide wider finance team support and cover when required
About you:
- Previous experience in a Management Accounting within manufacturing
- Ideally you will be studying a finance qualification
- Strong Excel skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to partner across teams
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Proactive approach with a willingness to challenge and improve processes
As this role is a 6mnth fixed term contract, they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. You will also receive on completion of the 6mnths, a 5% bonus.
