Temp HR Admin

Hybrid Working - Derby

6 Months

I am delighted to be working with my client in Derby to recruit a temporary HR Admin to join their team.

I am looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to support a busy HR team on a temporary basis for 6 months. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.


Contract Type: Temp (6 months)
Working Pattern: Full-time preferred (part-time considered)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 set office days per week in Derby

The Role:
Reporting into a team leaders, you'll join a lean and collaborative HR support function delivering efficient administrative services across the full employee lifecycle. Your day will include:

  • Drafting employment contracts and preparing leaver documentation

  • Managing the central HR inbox and escalating queries appropriately

  • Assisting with BP reports and general HR coordination

  • Supporting process delivery and ensuring a 48-hour turnaround enquiries

  • Updating employee records within the HR system

  • Participating in daily team calls to prioritise work and resolve challenges

What we're looking for:

  • A confident administrator with a strong eye for detail

  • Comfortable working independently and managing varied tasks

  • HR experience is helpful but not essential - great admin is what matters

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and digital systems
