Are you a dedicated Employee Relations specialist ready for your next step in HR?
We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established education provider for an exciting opportunity as an Employee Relations Advisor within their friendly and supportive HR team.

In this role you will be offering ER support to managers and staff, providing clear and practical advice on a wide range of employee relations issues. This includes managing complex casework, performance management, and handling disciplinary, grievance, and sickness processes - all while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and employment law.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acting as the primary HR support for employee relations cases, including investigation and case management.
  • Providing expert ER advice to managers and employees, including performance management, absence, and conduct issues.
  • Supporting wider employee experience initiatives - think College conferences, wellbeing events, and inclusion-focused activities.
  • Supporting D&I strategy and contributing to staff development and CPD opportunities.
  • Taking verbatim notes in hearings and investigations - note-taking experience is essential.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Proven specialist experience in Employee Relations (not just generalist HR).
  • Confident handling a range of ER issues end-to-end.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Great communication and organisational skills with a flexible and proactive mindset.

What's On Offer

A chance to develop your ER expertise in a busy, supportive HR team.

  • Flexible working arrangements - part time, term-time, or adjusted hours considered.
  • One on-site campus - minimal travel.
  • Competitive pension scheme and up to 25 days holiday (+ extra leave available).
  • Subsidised nursery fees & wellbeing hours.
  • Staff development, volunteering days, and inclusion support groups.
  • Access to modern facilities and continued investment in staff and learners.
