£27,000 - £30,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive HR team where you'll gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle and play a key role in supporting a busy, growing organisation.
As the HR Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day operational support across a wide range of HR activities from recruitment and onboarding to employee queries, data management and administration. You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative workplace where development is encouraged, and you'll have the opportunity to build your HR knowledge with potential enrolment on a CIPD-accredited apprenticeship.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Responding to employee and manager queries via email, phone and in-person
- Supporting the coordination of training and development activities
- Advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews
- Liaising with recruitment agencies where required
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Updating and maintaining the HR management system
- Uploading documents and ensuring data accuracy
- Supporting absence management administration, including processing forms and updating record
- Printing, scanning, filing and other day-to-day administrative tasks
- Providing reception cover in the absence of the receptionist
What we're looking for:
- At least 1 years HR administrative experience
- A fast learner with strong organisational skills
- Confident working independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with MS Office
- Willingness to travel to other East Midlands sites occasionally
