Job Description

Macildowie are working with this client based in North Leicestershire to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for an immediate start.

This is an interim opportunity, initially for 5 weeks, supporting the business during a busy period whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.

Salary: £35,000 FTE
Contract Type: Interim (5 weeks initially)
Working Pattern: Hybrid working
Hours: 30 hours per week (ideally across 5 days, but 4 days considered)

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role where you will support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers
  • Managing a range of ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances and absence
  • Supporting organisational change activity, including restructures and redundancies
  • Assisting with policy updates and ensuring best practice
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent HR delivery

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be immediately available or on a very short notice period
  • Have proven experience in a generalist HR Advisory role
  • Demonstrate strong ER knowledge, including redundancies and restructures
  • Be confident working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards (not essential)
