Marketing Manager

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Barwell, Leicestershire

 

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to join a well-established UK manufacturer and distributor of products for the equestrian, agricultural, construction and gardening sectors.

You’ll lead a team of three while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From managing exhibitions and creating marketing collateral to overseeing digital campaigns and supporting new product launches, you’ll play a key role in keeping marketing moving across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and support a team of three marketing professionals.

* Develop, manage and execute the annual marketing plan and budget

* Manage and optimise the online portal to ensure an excellent user experience, maximise functionality, and drive customer adoption and engagement.

* Lead the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across digital and offline channels.

* Coordinate trade shows and exhibitions from planning through to delivery.

* Create and oversee the production of marketing collateral, product labels, brochures, exhibition graphics and promotional materials.

* Manage email marketing, social media and website content.

* Work with external agencies and suppliers on creative projects.

* Ensure all marketing activity is consistent with brand guidelines.

* Support the business with new product launches and promotional campaigns.

About You

You’ll be an experienced marketing professional who enjoys being involved in every aspect of marketing, from planning campaigns to creating content and delivering events.

You’ll ideally have:

* Previous experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive role.

*  Experience leading, supporting, or mentoring a marketing team, fostering a culture of professionalism, enthusiasm, collaboration, and continuous development.

* A broad marketing background across digital and traditional channels.

* Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (or similar).

* Strong copywriting and content creation skills.

* Experience managing exhibitions or events.

* Knowledge of Mailchimp, Shopify and CRM systems is advantageous.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

* A proactive, creative and collaborative approach.

* A commercial mindset and an understanding of how marketing supports sales and wider business growth.
