Location: Ipswich- Office Based
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Free On-Site Parking Available
About the Role:
We are currently partnered with a leading, yet fast growing fluid power business in Ipswich. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager to join their operations team. This vital role involves overseeing administrative functions across Billing, Cost Control, and Fleet Management. You'll lead a busy office team, maintain internal processes, and work closely with Engineering and Field Service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate office team activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee scheduling, billing, inventory, and fleet operations.
- Act as first point of contact for team queries and issue resolution.
- Maintain communication with engineering teams and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance with procedures, and support audits.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and implementation of best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead office role.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Experience in logistics or field service coordination (preferred).
