Interim Principal Environmental Health Officer
Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire / Hybrid Working / Minimum six month contract
We are working with two of our local authority customers to recruit a Principal Environmental Health Officer roles for initial six month contracts
The core duties involve team management, providing support and direction for the operational activities of the Environmental Health Department across the food safety, health & safety, public health and animal welfare
About You
You'll be an experienced Environmental Health Officer with EHRB registration and be a confident people manager with strong communication skills
Day to day duties will be based around co-ordinating and undertaking inspections, surveys and investigations – ensuring services are delivered within the council’s framework of quality standards and legislative requirements.
The role is as a direct support the Environmental Health Manager and working within a multifunctional team working across with the full range of EH duties
The role will require typically two days per week working within the council’s offices
