I am delighted to be partnering with Nottinghamshire Police to recruit a Building Surveying role within their Estates and Facilities team
This is a newly created position within an established and successful team - reporting to the Head of Estates, working from the Police Headquarters at Sherwood Lodge
The role covers a wide range of Building Surveying duties across the existing estate, with the successful candidate responsible for managing capital budgets, planned and reactive maintenance schemes including;
- design and management of small to medium sized building projects, preparing business cases, drawings, specifications, and schedules, overseeing tenders and managing contractors
- managing large construction projects from inception, appointment of external design teams, feasibility, site acquisition, design, construction, and commissioning
- planned and reactive maintenance (other than minor day to day maintenance) projects including preparing specifications, managing contractors, and ensuring satisfactory project completion and compliance
- responsibility for introducing and monitoring energy conservation measures, monitoring targets for reduced energy consumption
