Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Remote, with ownership of the Midlands area (driving license needed and travel around the Midlands is essential)
Salary: up to £45,000 + £9k bonus + Company Car (or allowance - TBC)
Term: Permanent, Full-time
Macildowie are working with this client based in the Midlands to recruit for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected brand in the home interiors sector, known for quality, innovation, and strong market presence.
This is a fully remote position with no requirement to attend a central office - however, a full UK driving licence is essential due to regular travel across the Midlands region to visit independent and national clients.
You'll be responsible for growing sales and market share by recruiting, developing, and supporting new and existing dealers, as well as implementing growth strategies and delivering hands-on product training. This role blends technical expertise with strong interpersonal and planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales performance through coaching and account management
- Recruit and launch new dealers into the alliance programme
- Deliver product training and hands-on support for installations
- Analyse sales data and implement territory growth plans
- Ensure brand consistency across all dealer interactions
- Liaise with internal teams including accounts and credit control
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- UK Driving license is a must
- Must be confident, personable and likeable
- Proven experience in a B2B sales or Business Development role
- Excellent planning, communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware and results-driven
- Comfortable with regular travel and remote working
