Business Development Manager
£35,000 + car allowance + bonus
Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Lutterworth, hybrid
Macildowie are thrilled to be working with a leading business within the training sector. In this role you'll develop new business opportunities across England & Wales, driving commercial growth and promoting the business, working closely with the wider Sales and Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business leads, prioritised using strategic criteria
- Engage stakeholders and decision-makers, build persuasive business cases
- Negotiate and close agreements under agreed pricing models
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to support new product development
- Present market insights to the Executive and Management teams
- Track activity, attend industry exhibitions, and support new initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- Strong commercial acumen, and track record of revenue growth
- Customer-service oriented in busy environments
- Experience developing relationships to win new business
- Driven by targets and KPIs; confident stakeholder engagement and presentations
- Proficient with IT tools essential for business operations
