Administrator - NG2
Salary: Up to £26,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Location: NG2, Nottingham
We're currently seeking an Administrator to join a busy and dynamic team based in NG2. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SAP experience to play a key role in supporting the Category team ensuring the right products are stocked, supplier relationships are maintained, and sales are optimised.
Key Responsibilities
Support category planning, including contributing to range reviews and product reshuffles.
Collect, collate, and analyse data on product performance (sales, margins, stock levels) to inform buying decisions.
Assist in creating and scheduling promotional plans; coordinate with marketing and merchandising teams, and monitor performance.
Maintain accurate product setup and support the addition of new stock lines.
Liaise with suppliers for product details, packaging, samples, and ensure on-time delivery.
Help maintain inventory and stock data, assisting with forecasting to avoid shortages or overstock.
Collaborate with internal departments including operations, warehouse, logistics, and customer service to ensure a smooth order-to-delivery process.
Perform general administrative tasks: preparing reports, updating trackers, organising meetings, and maintaining documentation.
Person Specification
Essential:
Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data, pricing, and stock records.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence liaising internally and externally.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience in retail, wholesale, category management, buying, or merchandising.
Understanding of inventory systems, ordering, and forecasting.
Experience with promotional planning.
