Customer Service Assistant

Location: Portishead, Bristol
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum

About the Client:
Our client, a well-established family-run business in the security industry, is looking for a Customer Services Representative to join their team in Portishead, Bristol. The company is known for providing top-tier customer service and high-quality products, and they are now seeking an enthusiastic individual to help maintain this standard.

The Role:
As the Customer Services Representative, you will play a key role in processing sales orders, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between the customer and various internal teams. Your ability to handle customer issues promptly and professionally will contribute to maintaining the company's excellent reputation for service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage customer sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, providing clear, accurate information and solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth order fulfillment.

  • Support the sales team with product knowledge and order updates.

  • Maintain and update the customer database and CRM system.

  • Proactively expand your knowledge of the company's products and services to offer the best customer experience.

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent telephone communication skills and a confident, professional approach.

  • Previous customer service experience, particularly phone-based support, is highly beneficial.

  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • MRP system experience is a plus.

  • Experience or knowledge in the security industry is desirable but not essential.
