Accounts Assistant - Travel Sector
Location: Market Harborough
Salary: Up to £27,000
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

They are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their collaborative finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a values-driven business where learning, development, and purpose are central to the culture.
The Role:
You'll support day-to-day transactional finance functions across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role provides strong scope for development, with clear progression and structured learning pathways built in.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Processing purchase invoices and credit notes
- Preparing and assisting with weekly and ad hoc supplier payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Responding to supplier and internal stakeholder queries
- Bank reconciliations and posting cash transactions
- Allocating and reconciling customer payments
- Raising VAT invoices and travel agent statements
- Processing customer credits, refunds and cancellation adjustments
- Handling AR inbox and supporting timely resolution of billing queries
- Preparing aged debt reports and supporting collections
- Assisting with month-end close and audit activities
- Contributing to improvements across finance processes and controls
