We're working with a forward-thinking and supportive organisation based in Northampton that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Business partnering with budget holders to provide financial insight and support decision-making
- Supporting process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Experience:
- Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA or latter stages of AAT
- Previous experience in a management accounts or assistant management accountant role preferable
- Strong Excel skills and good general systems knowledge
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with stakeholders across the business
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow
