Macildowie are delighted to be working with a successful and growing business based in Milton Keynes, looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant.

The Role
You'll be a key member of the finance function, working closely with the Finance Manager to deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting. Typical duties will include:
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Preparing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
- Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to explain financial performance
- Supporting process improvement and system efficiency projects
Experience
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an AAT studier or equivalent looking to start ACCA/CIMA
- Has experience in a similar finance role
- Is confident using Excel and modern ERP systems
- Brings curiosity, energy, and a proactive approach - someone who wants to make it happen
