Our client is a global manufacturer, with roots dating back to over a century ago and hundreds of thousands of installations worldwide. The UK operation, based in Alfreton, sits within an international EMEA group - offering genuine scale alongside the close-knit feel of a business where you'll have direct, regular exposure to senior leadership.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Management Reporting Analyst to join the finance team in Alfreton, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a broad, hands-on role spanning monthly and weekly reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and a number of live finance projects - including group reporting across EMEA entities. You'll work closely with the wider finance team, including the Finance Manager, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant and Credit Control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support month-end close, including supplementary reporting
- Prepare the management and operational reporting pack for senior stakeholders
- Inventory, AP, sales and revenue analysis
- Produce monthly financial reporting and monthly EBITDA forecasting
- Manage UK VAT returns, plus supporting European VAT implications across group entities
- Standard cost, margin analysis, BOM (bill of materials) and COGS review across EMEA operations
- Cash flow forecasting and weekly balance/cash position forecasting, including inventory
- Weekly forecasting and weekly EBITDA forecasting
- Support forecasting and budgeting as a key focus area of the role
- Help drive consistent reporting across all EMEA group entities
- Support the finance systems migration from Great Plains to Dynamics 365
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), or qualified by experience
- Experience in a management reporting, financial reporting or FP&A role, ideally within a manufacturing or international business
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build clear reporting packs for senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working with multiple entities and currencies across an international group
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Organised and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage both monthly and weekly reporting cycles
