Job Title: Payroll Administrator (iTrent System)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Payroll Administrator to join our team. This is a fully office-based role, perfect for someone with experience using the iTrent HR & Payroll system. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll, addressing employee payroll queries, and maintaining the integrity of payroll data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll using the iTrent system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data is regularly updated.

  • Handle statutory calculations and submissions, including SSP, SMP, PAYE, pensions, and NI.

  • Respond to payroll queries efficiently, providing excellent employee support.

  • Reconcile payroll reports and support with month-end and year-end reporting.

  • Liaise with HR and Finance departments to resolve data discrepancies.

  • Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and company policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.

  • Strong working knowledge of the iTrent HR & Payroll system is essential.

  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of statutory payments, tax, and pension processes.

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle confidential information.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & payroll reporting.
