Accounts Receivable Assistant (Interim - 6 Months)
Location: Milton Keynes
Hourly Rate: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 from home
Employment Type: Interim - 6 months, with strong potential to go permanent

Macildowie are working with this client based in Milton Keynes on an exciting interim opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their fast-paced and growing finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global brand in the consumer and events industry, currently operating across multiple continents and working with some of the biggest names in sport and entertainment.

With impressive growth, a recent group acquisition, and the implementation of Dynamics 365, they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running in an AR-focused role, taking ownership of invoicing and supporting the sales-to-cash process across international territories. You'll be joining a collaborative and high-performing team who value a positive personality, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt in a change-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of international invoices across multiple currencies
  • Managing and resolving invoice queries
  • Supporting the sales ledger process
  • Liaising with sales and logistics teams to ensure accuracy and timely billing
  • Working with Dynamics 365 and Excel to update records and track receivables
  • Cash allocation in GBP, Euro, and USD
  • Taking ownership of designated areas within the order-to-cash cycle

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger
  • Experience within a fast-paced, product-based business preferred
  • Comfortable working with international accounts and multiple currencies
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Flexible, proactive and able to take ownership of your workload
