Job Description
We are currently working with a growing organisation that is seeking a confident, commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team in Northampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys adding value, improving processes, and working closely with operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Business partner with departmental heads to improve cost control and performance
- Assist with process improvements and development of financial reporting tools
- Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting where required
- Assist in project work such as system improvements, pricing analysis, or modelling
About You
- Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Solid Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous
- Proactive, driven, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement
