Payroll Specialist
£27,000 - £32,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based | Permanent

Macildowie are working with this client based in Milton Keynes.

This employee-owned business has over 28 years of history delivering electrical and interior refurbishment services across the commercial and industrial sectors. With a reputation built on long-standing client relationships and high standards of delivery, they're now looking to strengthen their finance team with a dedicated Payroll Specialist.

In a newly created role, you'll take full ownership of the weekly payroll and be part of a collaborative and supportive environment with real opportunity for autonomy and development.

The Role Includes:

  • Managing weekly payroll for c.35 employees
  • Handling subcontractor payments and expenses
  • Managing CIS returns and submissions (training can be given)
  • Liaising with project managers and handling payroll queries
  • Ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met without compromise
  • Using RedSky and Harvest to support payroll and timesheet processing

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Bring proven payroll experience (weekly payroll experience preferred)
  • Ideally have experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
  • Be detail-focused with a calm, organised approach
  • Thrive in a role that offers ownership and routine
  • Be confident using payroll systems and Excel
  • Live within a reasonable commute of Milton Keynes
