Location: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are partnered exclusively with one of the UK's leading online retail businesses to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team.

The Role
The Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining strong financial controls.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure within a progressive and commercially driven business, while contributing to month-end processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions accurately and efficiently
Posting invoices, credit notes, and payments
Managing supplier and customer queries in a timely and professional manner
Completing bank reconciliations and cash postings
Assisting with month-end close activities
Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies
Supporting audit preparation and documentation
Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
Systems & Technology
Daily use of Microsoft Dynamics
Working with integrated e-commerce platforms and payment systems
Person Specification
Essential:
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate Excel skills
