Macildowie are supporting a well-established international manufacturing business with the appointment of a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their small, collaborative finance team in Corby.
This opportunity would suit someone at the early stages of their finance career who is committed to progressing within accountancy. The business is keen to support AAT studies and is looking for an ambitious individual who sees this as a long-term career move.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will join a close-knit team structure consisting of Finance leadership, Management Accounting support and transactional finance. The role will provide exposure across both accounts payable and accounts receivable, alongside supporting reconciliation work and month-end processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting accounts payable processes
* Assisting with accounts receivable administration
* Bank reconciliations
* Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* General finance administration support
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and eager to learn, with either existing AAT studies underway or a clear desire to begin.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a supportive finance function, working closely with senior stakeholders and building strong foundational accounting knowledge.
