Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £28,000 (plus bonuses)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Hybrid after training)

We are currently looking for a driven and proactive Credit Controller to join a growing finance team in Nottingham. This isn't your typical Credit Control role - you'll be working closely with an experienced Credit Control Manager to manage reconciliations and a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities:

• Manage debtor performance
• Chase debt and resolve queries
• Handle reconciliations
• Set new client credit limits
• Oversee credit sanctions, allocations, dispute resolution, banking, and credit notes
• Collaborate with the team to drive improvements and resolve issues

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in credit control
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong team player with a professional approach to work
• Experience with reconciliations
