HR Manager - 6-Month FTC
Enderby (Hybrid Working) | £50,000 - £55,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, hands-on environment?
We're supporting a growing organisation in their search for an HR Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad generalist role where you'll act as the key on-site HR presence, supporting everything from operational HR tasks to the ongoing development of strategic people projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main HR contact for the site - advising, coaching, and guiding managers on a wide range of people matters
Line manage and develop a HR Officer, supporting their growth and confidence
Lead and contribute to people-focused projects such as:
Implementation of a skills matrix
Development of pay structures and job grading frameworks
Line manager capability programmes to support confident and independent people management
Support recruitment in collaboration with a Talent Acquisition specialist
Manage employee relations cases and support absence and performance management
Oversee onboarding and induction processes, enhancing the employee experience
Provide insight and make recommendations through HR data and reporting
Maintain and develop internal HR policies, processes, and systems
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A confident, self-sufficient HR generalist with strong ER experience
Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing junior HR professionals
Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice
Capable of balancing strategic planning with day-to-day HR delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Able to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment
Contract Details:
6-month fixed-term contract
£50,000 - £55,000 salary
Hybrid working (3 days on site in Enderby)
Flexible working hours, 37 hours per week
