The role: Part Time HR Administration

Macildowie is proud to be exclusively partnering on an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator to join a fast-paced, established business in Leicester.


This is an excellent role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong administration skills, and is looking to further develop their career in HR. You'll be a key part of a close-knit People Team, providing essential support across the full employee lifecycle.

The Role:

Reporting into the People Partner, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries and take ownership of all day-to-day HR administration. This includes:

  • Supporting the People Team with all administrative processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Managing new starter, leaver, and contract change processes
  • Administering all types of leave including maternity, paternity, sickness, and flexible working
  • Maintaining the monthly organisation chart and ensuring all people data is accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the recruitment process, including issuing contracts and onboarding paperwork
  • Ensuring all employee files and data are managed in line with GDPR and internal standards
  • Taking ownership of filing, documentation, and systems updates
  • Supporting on HR projects and contributing to the delivery of the wider people strategy

About You:

  • Previous experience in a busy HR admin or coordinator role
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to produce accurate documentation and maintain confidential records
  • Experience working in a manufacturing business is desirable but not essential
  • Confident using HR systems ( People HR experience is advantageous)
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Personable, proactive, and able to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and resilient
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and integrity
