Are you an experienced HR and Payroll Admin looking to take the next step in your HR career? I am looking for a HR and Payroll Assistant to join my client based in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative business where people are at the heart of what they do.


About the Role:

You'll provide a comprehensive HR and Payroll administration service, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR activities for UK-based employees. Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, you'll deliver excellent support to managers and colleagues, while helping to continuously improve processes.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Manage HR admin processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and contractual changes.
  • Support managers with recruitment, induction, probation, and compliance checks.
  • Work with an outsourced payroll provider to administer and check monthly payroll, handling pay and benefits queries.
  • Maintain HR systems and files in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Monitor training and development activities through the LMS.
  • Compile HR data and identify trends to support decision-making.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Previous experience in a busy HR administration and payroll role.
  • A passion for people and delivering excellent service.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
  • Confidence working with HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
