Job Description

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a role where you can genuinely influence organisational performance, drive change, and make a meaningful impact?

We are seeking a commercially minded and people-focused HR Business Partner to support a diverse operational division within a national organisation. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across a broad remit, helping to shape people plans, improve engagement, drive performance, and support organisational change.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders, lead complex employee relations activity, and contribute to key people initiatives across a geographically dispersed workforce.

The Role

As a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you will:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases.
  • Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, harmonisation projects, redeployment and redundancy consultations.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on employment legislation, policy and best practice.
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics to support informed decision making.
  • Support talent and succession planning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll, Finance and other support functions.
  • Line manage and develop HR team members, ensuring a high-quality HR service is delivered across the business.
  • Lead and contribute to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience within an adult social care or healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance people and business priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Experience managing complex HR casework and mitigating organisational risk.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a large, multi-site organisation.

What's on Offer?

  • Opportunity to work within a values-led organisation.
  • A varied and strategic HR role with genuine influence.
  • Exposure to significant people and organisational change projects.
  • Supportive and collaborative HR team.
  • Career development opportunities within a growing organisation.

If you're an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast paced, multi site environment and enjoys building strong relationships while driving positive change, we'd love to hear from you.
