6 Month FTC | Circa £50,000 | Hybrid Northamptonshire & Warwickshire
About the Role
We are supporting a well-established organisation with the appointment of an ER Specialist to join their busy People function on an initial 6-month FTC, with the potential to extend.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor / HRBP with a strong Employee Relations background to take ownership of a varied caseload and provide expert support to managers across the business.
Working closely with a People Business Partner, you will support teams across Customer Experience and Corporate Finance OR the distribution centre providing trusted advice and guidance across a range of ER matters while also contributing to wider people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for managers, providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters
- Manage end-to-end ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, absence management and investigations
- Support managers through complex people issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, employees and employee representatives
- Work collaboratively with People Business Partners across different business areas
- Support organisational change and people initiatives
- Assist with policy development and ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice
- Support tribunal case management where required
- Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence in handling people matters
- Support the rollout and adoption of a People Services case management system
- Stay up to date with changes in employment law and advise accordingly
About You
You will ideally have:
- Strong experience within Employee Relations
- Experience managing disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and absence cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience using HR systems / case management systems (desirable)
- The ability to build effective working relationships across different teams
- A commercial and solutions-focused approach
Key Details
- Salary: circa £50,000 (or day rate equivalent)
- Contract: 6-month FTC (potential to extend)
- Start date: Immediate preferred
- Location: Hybrid working Northamptonshire/Warwickshire (approx. 1 day per week)
- Requirements: Driving licence essential
