Building Surveyor (Client Side)
West Midlands-based | Full-time, Permanent

We're recruiting for an experienced Building Surveyor for a leading non for profit organisation in the West Midlands.

You'll take the lead on managing and developing a diverse property portfolio - from residential and commercial assets to heritage buildings and community hubs.

You'll combine strategic oversight with hands-on surveying and project delivery, ensuring our properties are well-maintained, compliant, and future-ready. This is your chance to work on unique projects, including sustainable retrofits and new developments, while making a real impact in the community.

What you'll do:

• Lead property sales, acquisitions & development projects
• Deliver planned maintenance and net zero carbon improvements
• Oversee compliance checks, inspections, and capital works
• Manage contractors, consultants, and budgets
• Identify new opportunities to optimise the portfolio

What you'll bring:

• Strong project management & leadership skills
• Knowledge of statutory compliance & building regs
• Experience with listed buildings (desirable)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
