The Role
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will lead on financial systems and capital accounting. This includes acting as the Financial Systems Lead for the organisation's finance system (Agresso), as well as managing a capital programme. You will also support a major capital development project to deliver a new facility.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development and use of the Agresso finance system
Managing the annual capital budget and year-end closedown
Providing accurate budget monitoring and financial reporting
Advising project managers and attending capital project meetings
Maintaining the capital asset register in line with relevant accounting standards
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a finance professional who can bring:
Solid experience with finance systems (ideally Agresso, though training can be provided)
A background in capital accounting, budget setting and financial monitoring
Confidence working collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system and process improvements
