The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and enabling strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and budget holders, providing insightful analysis, challenge, and guidance that supports operational efficiency and long-term value for money.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with service directors and managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Deliver robust financial analysis to support strategic decisions and operational improvements.

• Lead on the preparation, review and presentation of management accounts.

• Provide expert advice on cost control, resource allocation, and value for money.

• Drive improvements in financial awareness and accountability across the organisation.

• Proactively identify risks and opportunities, influencing change to optimise performance.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong understanding of both management and financial accounts.

• Proven track record in improving financial performance and successfully delivering change.

• Confident and collaborative communicator, with experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering value for money in a purpose-driven environment.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving setting, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
