The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and enabling strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and budget holders, providing insightful analysis, challenge, and guidance that supports operational efficiency and long-term value for money.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with service directors and managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Deliver robust financial analysis to support strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Lead on the preparation, review and presentation of management accounts.
Provide expert advice on cost control, resource allocation, and value for money.
Drive improvements in financial awareness and accountability across the organisation.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities, influencing change to optimise performance.
About You
Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong understanding of both management and financial accounts.
Proven track record in improving financial performance and successfully delivering change.
Confident and collaborative communicator, with experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering value for money in a purpose-driven environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving setting, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
