Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Loughborough & Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full-time, permanent. Monday - Friday. 35 hours per week
Overview:
A leading organisation in the sports sector is seeking a detail-focused and proactive Quality Officer. This role involves coordinating quality assurance and compliance activities across the organisation's educational programmes. The focus will be on ensuring integrity, consistency, and continuous improvement in standards, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Role and Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Stakeholder Management:
Provide exceptional support to training centres, educators, consultants, and learners. Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support quality assurance and compliance efforts.Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of awarding organisation regulations and compliance standards, ensuring ongoing adherence.Monitoring & Reporting:
Oversee the compliance status and regulatory conditions of approved training centres. Coordinate regular reporting to inform internal teams and leadership, ensuring accurate and timely updates. Maintain quality assurance records and ensure all audit requirements are met.Audits & Investigations:
Conduct internal audits and assist with broader audit activities. Support investigations into complaints, malpractice, and appeals, escalating issues as needed.Data Management & Reporting:
Manage and report on quality assurance data, ensuring comprehensive tracking and accuracy. Assist in processing invoices and maintain financial procedures related to quality assurance activities.Training & Standardisation:
Support the organisation and delivery of training events, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and keeping up with product or policy updates.
About You:
Essential:
Experience in a quality assurance role, with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in internal/external quality assurance.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance for awarding organisations
Proficient in using digital platforms for data management and reporting.
Ability to manage a varied workload, meet deadlines, and implement policies and procedures effectively.
Proven track record in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Desirable:
Experience in auditing or managing complaints and investigations.
Familiarity with vocational education environments or the aquatics industry.
