Macildowie are working with an established business based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive. You will be providing support to the Business Development team to constantly improve our new customer pipeline and grow the business.

Responsibilities:

• To work closely with the business development team to research and source new customer opportunities in order to grow and develop new accounts
• To undertake prospecting and telemarketing activity as directed by the Business Development Director and Business Development Support Manager, including securing and arranging meetings with prospective customers
• Ensuring that all relevant information relating to prospects, enquiries, quotations and orders is attached to the company CRM system in the correct manner and ensuring that CRM is kept up to date and that regular housekeeping is done
• Sending quotes/order confirmations to customers ensuring that diary dates for follow up calls are actioned and that critical paths for all projects are followed through

• Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of internal and external customers. Ensures actions of self and others meet or exceed customer requirements
• Works at a pace that matches the requirements of the business and recognises the importance of timely completion of tasks
• Target and KPI driven
• Computer Literate, numerate, attention to detail, logical and methodical approach to work
• Accepts additional challenges and responsibilities willingly and assists others
