Melissa Burnside

Melissa joined Macildowie in June 2024 as an Associate Director in Nottingham, after 18 years with a blue-chip recruiter. 

Melissa leads the team that specialises in Clerical Finance and Office & Commercial Support recruitment across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

She recruits temporary Commercial Support roles across this region.

 Melissa's key mantra is:

‘Treat your candidates and clients how you would expect to be treated yourself’.  

Melissa lives in Barrow upon Soar and when it’s not flooded (which has felt like every weekend this year!), she enjoys going to the gym and the odd glass of wine or cocktail.

Melissa has two stepchildren aged 9 and 13 who also keep her busy.
