Credit Risk Financial Analyst

We’re currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Financial Analyst to join a growing and dynamic finance team based in Uttoxeter. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial assessment to play a key role in supporting both Sales and Credit functions.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out detailed financial analysis on both existing and prospective customers, helping to support credit applications and decision-making processes. Working closely with internal teams and external underwriters, you’ll ensure accurate, timely insights that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis on major customer accounts to support credit applications
• Review and assess prospective clients to support sales strategy and decision-making
• Manage and maintain a structured process for obtaining up-to-date financial information
• Provide accurate and timely reports to credit underwriters
• Support the development and automation of financial analysis processes
• Build and maintain benchmarking data across customer segments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of customer care and data protection

• Strong analytical and financial assessment skills
• Experience working with financial data, credit risk, or underwriting processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicator, able to work with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
