Macildowie are working with a highly established, international organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a close-knit, high-performing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role where you’ll gain real exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key part in driving business performance.
The Role
This is a hands-on Finance Business Partner position combining commercial finance, project accounting and process ownership. You’ll work closely with operational teams, providing insight, challenge and support to improve performance across a portfolio of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders to support decision making
- Preparing and reviewing revenue and WIP calculations
- Supporting project teams to understand profitability and performance
- Conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting against KPIs
- Managing client due diligence and ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Supporting contract setup and maintenance within the finance system
- Leading project review meetings focused on financial performance
- Providing training and guidance to non-finance teams
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within a project-based or service-led environment
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition / WIP
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support across a small team
Candidates can be:
- Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Part-qualified
- Or qualified by experience

Additional Info
- Minimum 3 days per week in the office (Newark)
- Monthly travel to London required (expenses covered)
