Job Description
My client is looking for a PA to join their law firm based in the East Midlands with several offices.
Duties
- Deal with clients in person, taking instructions, advising and taking appropriate action
 - Preparing documentation promptly and efficiently
 - Deal promptly and efficiently with all matters referred by the Partners and other appropriate fee earners
 - Attend LAC reviews and child protection conferences and court and conferences with counsel
 - Carrying out all other administrative matters required by the Family Department including legal aid applications and billing
 
They are looking for an individual who possesses great typing skills and would be ideal for a legal secretary looking for the next step up or for a Paralegal looking for their next career change.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills towards clients, excellent communication skills and robust organisation skills to meet the demands of the department.
Skills
- Educated to GCSE level, including Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent
 - Good communication skills with colleagues, clients and third parties
 - Working knowledge of relevant law and procedures
 - Proactive and excellent time management skills
 - Excellent typing skills
 - Previous care experience
