FINANCE MANAGER — PRIDE PARK, DERBY — UP TO £50,000
A well-established, growing organisation in the care sector is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of month end and day-to-day finance. This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape how the finance function runs.
THE ROLE
You'll lead on month-end reporting for the senior team, then keep the day-to-day finance function running accurately and on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly management accounts — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end accounts alongside external accountants
- Manage day-to-day finance, including bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
- Oversee payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- Monitor cash flow and aged debt
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT Level 4 qualified
- Experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant role
- Confident producing management accounts and running month end independently
- Strong Excel skills; Xero experience an advantage
