Salary: Up to £40,000

About the role
Join a successful and growing business as an Accounts Payable Team Leader, managing a high-volume finance function. Reporting into the wider finance team, you'll oversee a team of six AP Clerks, ensuring accuracy, performance, and continual process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of six AP Clerks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Oversee invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and weekly/monthly payment runs
Maintain KPIs, deadlines, and internal control standards
Handle escalated supplier/internal queries
Identify and implement process enhancements
Support month-end activities and audit preparation
What we're looking for
Experienced in Accounts Payable with team leadership or supervisory exposure
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume roles
Solid ERP system and Excel skills
Excellent communicator and natural team player
Proactive, supportive, and calm under pressure
