We're recruiting for a Finance Analyst - Inventory Team to join an established business in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a business with a strong track record of developing and promoting talent internally.
Northamptonshire - commutable from Northampton & Rugby
Hybrid working arrangement (2 days in the office)
c. 6 month FTC
What you'll do:
- Support with production of monthly reporting and management packs
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Producing variance analysis and cost reports for senior management
- Preparation and posting of inventory journals, including stock provisions
- Partnering with the commercial team to calculate and post operational cost movements
- Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What you'll need:
- AAT qualified or equivalent, with a desire to pursue ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Experience in a finance role with strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Previous stock accounting / analysis experience (advantageous)
- High attention to detail and confident working independently
- Strong Excel and data handling skills (Pivots, Look ups, formulae)
