Salary: Up to £26,000 - dependent on experience
Type: Permanent - Hybrid working hours available (Very Flexible on this) - Some of the team go in to the office a few times a month!
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday - Flexibility with hours
We are delighted to be supporting a reputable organisation as they recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant due to retirement. This is a permanent opportunity, offering up to £26,000 per annum, based on 37.5 hours per week, with an attractive hybrid working model - up to 3 days a week from home and flexible hours to support work-life balance.
This role has become available due to a retirement within the team, and you'll be welcomed into a close-knit and collaborative finance department of six, reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager. With a strong culture of internal progression, this team has a track record of promoting talent into analyst and month-end positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high volumes of invoices (up to 100,000 annually) using 3-way matching
- End-to-end purchase-to-pay (P2P) processing in a paperless environment
- Coding and matching against POs
- Working with automated invoice processing software
- Handling supplier queries with professionalism and efficiency
Who We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable, ideally within a multi-site business
- Comfortable with system change and digital finance environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Workday, or similar platforms
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a desire to develop professionally
