Finance Manager - Permanent - £60,000 - £70,000 per annum - Leicester
Macildowie are supporting a successful and forward-thinking organisation in their search for a Finance Manager. This is a permanent opportunity, with a hybrid working model (3-4 days in the office).
This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, and supporting business decision-making through insightful analysis. You'll also lead and develop a small team, ensuring robust controls and efficient processes are maintained.
This position would suit a hands-on qualified accountant who is looking to take ownership of end-to-end finance activity within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts
Lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Produce MI packs with variance analysis and financial commentary
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across the organisation
Oversee VAT returns and maintain strong internal financial controls
Line manage and support the development of finance team members
Assist with audit preparation and ad hoc financial projects
Ideal Candidate Profile:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualified experience
Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams
Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems (e.g. Sage Intacct)
